This cute little clock displayed under a glass dome was made by the Terry Clock Co. of Waterbury, Connecticut circa 1870. The base is cast iron and retains the vast majority of its’ original paint decoration. For the most part, this detail work is in very good condition. The clock movement is supported in a brass framing. The legs of this framing are embellished with decorative scroll work that is applied on the front facing surfaces. The movement is well made. It is an 8-day double spring double wind movement. It is a timepiece. The original pendulum remains with this clock. It is also nicely decorated. The dial is porcelain and is in excellent condition. It features Roman numerals to mark the hours. This dial is surrounded by a brass bezel. At the top of the framing is a pressed brass ornamentation. This is die-stamped with the Maker's name and working location. This clock measures approximately 9 inches tall or a full 11.5 inches with the dome in place.
