This is a very handsome brass carriage clock that is French made circa 1900. The case is oval shaped. The four glass panels are bowed to conform to the shape of the brass framing. These panels are trimmed with beveled edges. The brass movement is well made. It is designed to run eight days on a full wind. This clock also has an alarm. The alarm strikes on a bell located on the bottom of the case. The dial is very nice and slightly convex and feature Roman numerals to mark the hours on the time ring. This case measures almost 5.5 inches tall with the handle in the up right position. This clock is in very good condition. The movement has been recently serviced and is in running order.
